A Dream Fulfilled

Stuck, bored, going through the motions and caught up in office politics, my life felt dull and purposeless.  I had a prestigious position as a Project Manager for a non-profit organization and yet each promotion left me feeling empty and hopelessly stuck.

I secretly yearned to be a writer, but like so many others, my life partner Paul and I felt trapped by our financial circumstances. These feelings spilled over into other areas of our lives, reducing the quality of our relationships with friends and family. My heart was closed and I avoided true connection.

As time passed, my desire to be a writer grew stronger. Every now and then, I would be fired up with inspiration, but despite numerous attempts at a story outline, I would inevitably come up against an impenetrable wall. I became increasingly frustrated and was miserable. I yearned to write a book, yet I could not move forward, and I didn't understand why.

Then, it all changed …

In September 2005, a friend gave us a couple of tickets to the Millionaire Mind Intensive. Paul and I had no idea of the level of impact that workshop would have on us. Revelation after revelation surfaced as we discovered how our money blueprints had shaped us and kept us stuck in ruts of limitation, worry and anxiety. It became clear how my attitude had been sabotaging all my desires. Now, having brought them to light, we were finally able to make conscious choices to change them.

The MMI was exhilarating and liberating and marked a new beginning for us … not only for our financial situation, but also for our relationship. Together, we began to build a wonderful life.

The book is born …

Reading James Redfield's: The Celestine Prophecy in 1996 had been the beginning of a spiritual journey, so that book has always held a special place in my heart. I wanted to write something in that genre, a story that would spark similar feelings of awareness and excitement in readers. After the MMI, my passion was unleashed and I began to write daily. Within 6 months my debut novel, Phoenix Star—an Adventure of the Spirit was born!

An even bigger breakthrough!

Finishing my manuscript was nothing short of a miracle. Because MMI had been the catalyst for my first novel, I thought it was the best thing that ever happened to me. But The Enlightened Warrior Camp absolutely astounded me. The transformation I experienced escalated changes in my life exponentially, and I realized how much I had been running from others, from my life and retreating from my own magnificence. During one of the processes, I made a decision to embrace my light and to use my inner strength to support me.

Warrior gave me the final push I needed to publish my book. It was even completed a month ahead of schedule and received strong endorsements and glowing reviews!

Now, I hear countless stories from people expressing how Phoenix Star has touched their hearts and minds. Mission accomplished—my dream come true!

Yet this was only beginning. Paul and I are currently working on a self-help book entitled: SAY YES! Discover your Passion and Create a Life you Love. I would also like to pursue the idea of writing a magical, inspirational children's book along with a sequel to Phoenix Star.

Living my right livelihood was one of many life-altering transformations. With my heart blown wide open, connecting with others has been easy, enriching and rewarding. My relationship with Paul has deepened, and we are able to feel and freely express our growing love for each other, our children, family and friends. Life is sweet indeed.
